El Magazen

We went there yesterday for lunch. Here you will be in the Fine dining world with a big ´F’, from service, ingredients quality and tastes. Probably our best meal experience during our stay in Venezia even we went also to other very good tables. We got get a detailed explanation on every fork/spoon we were going to eat with a great attention to details on ingredients and cooking process. The boss loves all about cooking. We got tasty appetizers between each meal. And the meal are excellent with very original and particular taste. Roasted lambchop with mustard potato puree and pink peper was perfect. Very tender meat and right cooking. Tiramisu is refined. Hope one day we could come back to Venezia and enjoy this amazing fine ding hospitality experience again.

If you’re looking for a break from the Venice tourist traps, El Magazen did not disappoint. Every bite was perfection, an artfully crafted and thoughtful meal experience. The service was attentive and highly professional, while the space was authentic and romantic. Put this on your list if you want an amazing meal and experience!

This restaurant was the best of all Venice Cuisine! Would highly recommend. Yazmin is one of the best and most diverse cook! Nino delivered an outstanding tasting menu with intelligence behind all the dishes and wines. If you are looking for a tasting menu that will not disappoint you, then go here. You don’t have to make decisions, just trust in their recommendations. I don’t say this lightly as my husband and I purposely look for hidden gems. This is one of them and we will be back when returning to Venice. Thank you Yazmin and Nino for our last night experience! Ciao!

Highly recommend if you visit Venice ! Wonderful quaint restaurant overlooking the canal run by a husband and wife team. The food was soooo unique and authentic and exceptionally and thoughtfully prepared. We opted for the chefs tasting with wine pairings and couldn’t have been more pleased. The timing and pacing of each course was right on point . The best meal I had in all of Italy !

Magazen in Venice is a revelation. Chef Jasmine and her husband run a flawless duet—kitchen and dining room in perfect sync. With a tiny ratatouille perched on her toque, she made us dream like never before—and I don’t say that lightly. Techniques are razor-sharp: silken duck ragù, blushing pink lamb, both executed with confidence and grace. Their “most” dish—the panko sardines with a playful wasabi sauce—is so addictive we’d return just for that bite. Warm service, precise pacing , and a wine list that lets the food shine. My pick for best table of 2025: not yet starred, but it absolutely deserves it. Book now before everyone else catches on.

El Magazen was next door to our accommodations when we arrived in Venice yesterday. We asked for a table at 6:30pm and were invited to a fabulous, creative, and delicious assortment of drinks, wine, and cuisine. Nino (the host) and his wife Yasmin (the chef) have created a beautiful gem of a Venetian restaurant that delivers an outstanding experience beyond our expectations. Highly, highly recommended!!!

It was our first trip to Venice, and the bartender at our hotel recommended El Magazen. We took the first seating of the evening in order to get the table by the window overlooking the canal, and it was one of the best decisions we made. Nino and Yasmin made the whole evening a true dining experience, with unique and delicious food, impeccable presentation, and a charming atmosphere. My husband and I both got the 5-course menu with wine pairings, and each course was fantastic. Nino's care and attention to detail were apparent in the way each plate was arranged on the table, and how he explained each dish, the history of the wine, and the rationale for pairing the two. A visit here is a must!

Excellent choice. A talented chef with a fabulous sense of flavour and texture combinations. The service was impeccable, and wine recommendations were bang on. They provided many small treats on the house between courses… The atmosphere was calm and elegant. It was not inexpensive, but we really enjoyed our meal here, and hope to come back again before we leave Venice.
